    NOTE: EDO memory may be used with the SDRAM memory, but the SDRAM will not reach its full capabilities when mixed with EDO memory.
    NOTE: There is a Firmware DIMM that must be installed only in Slot 1 or the printer will not function.
  • Memory Enhancement technology (MEt) automatically compresses data to use RAM more efficiently.
  • The HP LaserJet 8100 and 8100n printers come with 8 MB of SDRAM on the formatter and an 8 MB SDRAM DIMM for a total of 16 MB.
  • The HP LaserJet 8100dn printer comes with 8 MB of SDRAM on the formatter and a 16 MB SDRAM DIMM for a total of 24 MB.
  • The HP LaserJet 8100 MFP comes with 8 MB of SDRAM on the formatter and a 48 MB SDRAM DIMM for a total of 56 MB.
